Chad was born and raised in Tyler, and is a graduate of Chapel Hill High School. He and his wife Kendra married on September 1995. They have two children: Madi and Logan. Chad has been involved in student ministry for almost 20 years. He started working with students at Sharon Baptist Church helping out with Sunday School and Wednesday activities. Feeling God’s calling to Friendly, he quickly became involved in the student ministry in 2006. From 2010 to 2013 Chad was the Student Intern, and in 2013 he became Associate Student Minister. From 2017 to the present, Chad has served as Friendly's Student Pastor. Chad is also involved in Character Coaching at Moore Middle School and Coaches Outreach at Chapel Hill. He has a passion to see students lives changed for the Gospel and lived out on a daily basis. Chad enjoys lifting weights, hunting and fishing, but most of all spending time with his wife and children.
