Dan was called as Pastor to Friendly in February of 2022.
Dan grew up in Edmond, Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma Baptist University. He met his wife Gigi at OBU and married a few months after he graduated. Dan began ministry as a youth minister at First Baptist Church of Shawnee, OK during his final year of college. Dan went on to serve as Youth Minister at First Baptist Church of Chouteau, OK and First Baptist Church of Sherman, TX. While in Sherman, TX Dan received a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and soon thereafter was called to First Baptist Church of Adair, OK as Senior Pastor. Dan served FBC Adair for eleven years and while there completed work on a Doctorate of Ministry from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Before coming to serve as Friendly's Senior Pastor, Dan served six years as the Director of Missions at Craig-Mayes Baptist Association. Dan and Gigi have three kids; Savannah, Caden, and Kennedy.
Dan enjoys exercise, reading, thinking, and fixing things that are broken.
