Steve joined the Friendly Baptist staff in May of 2001. Prior to coming to Friendly, Steve served at First Baptist Church, Destin, FL as Minister of Youth and Education and at First Baptist Church, Valdosta, GA as Student Minister. Prior to being called as Executive Pastor, he served as our Student Pastor for fifteen years. Steve's current duties include overseeing the administrative and financial areas of the church as well as adult discipleship. He also leads our Re|engage marriage ministry. Steve has a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Georgia, a Master's degree from Southwestern Seminary in Religious Education, and a Master's of Divinity degree from Liberty University. Steve and his wife Claudia have two children - Matt and Will.
