Friendly started a Building For Kids Growth Campaign September 2009 for future expansion of our ministry. The future of Friendly Baptist is in our Children's Ministry and a new Children's Building was built. The Children's Building was dedicated to the Lord and opened November 2010.

First, this expansion communicates the opportunity to reach hundreds and possibly thousands of young couples over the years for our Lord Jesus Christ.

Next, it represents how we feel about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In Matthew 18:4-5 Jesus said, "Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receives me." In other words, "What we do for our children we also are doing for Jesus."

Finally, the Building For Kid's Growth Campaign represents a challenge we were given by Jesus in Matthew 19:13-14: "Then were there brought unto him little children that he should put his hands on them, and pray; and the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."
