Girls in Action (GAs) meets every Wednesday from 6:30 - 8:00 PM from September - May. 1st-6th grade girls are welcome to join us upstairs in the Children's Building.
May 2013 Events
May 1st - Deadline for 4th - 6th grade GAs to pay and turn in their summer camp form. Final cost per GA is $142. Event date: the week of June 10th.
May 15th - Wednesday during GAs, 2nd graders tet the ICE CREAM PARTY! Way to go for collecting the most money for the Annie Armstrong offering.
May 19th - Potluck dinner and awards ceremony, in the Venue, after the evening worship service.
May 22nd - Wednesday evening, 7 PM, Mom and Me Tea, in the upstairs Children's Building.
May 29th - Wednesday evening, 6:30 PM, End of Year Party to Chuck-E-Cheese. $6.00 per GA due no later than May 22nd in GA classroom.
Special Announcements
1. MUFFINS FOR MISSIONS fundraiser was a success for the THIRD year in a row! Thank you to everyone that worked and donated. Our proceeds of $962 will be split up and given to the GAs attending summer camp. Again, thank you!
2. We will take a summer break from GAs again this year. We pray blessings on your family for a wonderful and safe summer. There will be weekly kids activities during the Wednesday evening hours of 6:30-8:00 time frame directed by Kay Weippert. Feel free to join in the fun!
3. We are in search of some new leaders in GAs. Our new year begins at the end of August. If you able to volunteer, please contact Cindy Waterman at 903-570-7476. GAs will not happen without the support leaders from our church.
