Every member is called to be a minister of God's love to the world. He asks His children to pitch in and give a hand to others. When Jesus Christ comes into our lives, He begins to make us ready to love and serve. We show our love for our neighbors through serving in ministry. The Bible says in Ephesians 2:10, “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do”. It is God's plan to come into our lives so that we can in turn grow spiritually and get involved in the lives of others.
As we grow spiritually, we become more like Christ and more of a servant. When we become a Christian, God gives each of us the opportunity to serve others and make a real difference in our community. When you serve others in Jesus' name, you’re ministering. God didn't design ministry for just a few people. At Friendly, we believe that every member of our church is a minister.
